Christmas Cookie Decorating Class
Hello! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I can't believe next weekend is Christmas, where has the month of December gone? Yesterday I was able to attend a private class at my Aunt Kelley's home where Kathryn Wagner taught us how to bake and decorate Christmas sugar cookies. Kathryn teaches these classes as a fun way for people to learn the tips and tricks of the trade. She also operates Kathryn Wagner Cake Design and makes the most incredibles cakes and cookies. Kathryn actually made my high school graduation cake and my engagement party cake. My favorite part of the class was learning the tips and secrets she has learned over the years. The tip I found most interesting was that your eggs should be at room temperature before adding them in the batter as it helps them fold in and meld with the other ingredients more seamlessly. She even shared some her favorite products with us which I'll share with you down below. I left with an arsenal of baking knowledge and felt more confident to take on baking from scratch at home.
